Today I saw a line of girls riding their scooters at a fast pace. However, one girl was not so fortunate as to own this scooter and was forced to run alongside the other girls. I laughed out loud. I wish I had gotten a picture of this.

That's hilarious! Maybe the girl sans scooter was trying to get some exercise. When my friend Bonnie used to want to go running, I'd ride my bike beside her... maybe it's like that =)
did I ever tell you about "Scooter girl" on KSU campus? During my freshman year, i would be walking briskly on my way to class, trying to dodge the slow ones...then all of a sudden, like a flash of lightning, here comes this girl on her scooter bursting through the crowded side walk, with her bright red hair flowing in the breeze as you caught glimpses of her flexed calve muscles bulging out of her masculine army boots in shorts. :) She got so much attention when she would go fast like that, that they started mentioning her in the Collegian and gave her the name Scooter Girl.
That's funny! Were these girls on campus??? I could see little girls doing that. When I worked at kwik shop in college, there was a girl who would ride up to the door, honk her horn to announce she was there come in and get some candy and leave. She honked the horn as she was leaving too. We never talked really but she did that every time she came!
Reagan, that is hilarious!! ha!!!! i can picture that all too well. LOL!
Isn't it? Glad you liked my story :)
I love BOTH of these stories! It seems no matter what context, there's always something funny that happens when it involves a scooter.
And these girls that I saw were young-- probably middle school. I couldn't stop laughing!
