I'm such a girl

Yesterday I went to Uniontown, KS-- a small little Potawatomie settlement that was burnt down and there are only a few remains left, including portions of the Oregon Trail. I found this little trail that went back quite a ways and of course I was alone, which tends to happen a lot (I know, totally not safe). But I started to get a little freaked out and yet I kept going. What's funny is that the thing that spurred me on to turn around was the fact that this really annoying bumblebee kept flying around my head. I began to run down the path and it kept coming towards me. I'm sure I looked like quite a sight, this girl-- trudging along the trail wearing flip flops and not equipped for walking whatsoever, trying to hold her bulky camera as gently as possible, waving her arms around her face, swatting at what must have seemed an imaginary bee.

1) stop going places alone. Seriously.

2) it WAS an imaginary bee, and we both know it

Ok, dude. I haven't had any time to mess with those videos yet...and that's not even just an excuse. I was gone all weekend, and I've got to spend my next several lunch hours working on Thank Yous. So, if you want, I can let YOU upload the videos onto YouTube or Blogger for me, if you're that anxious. :)
